It appears that Severus and Charity temporarily slipped through a warp in the space-time continuum. Inspired by this comment exchange inalisanne's story "Temptation." What a long, strange trip it's been...
A chartreuse microbus pulled into the parking lot of a roadside cafe.
"Snape! And... Professor Burbage?"

Why?
From the bus--all of them looking especially jaunty--emerged Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, David Bowie, and Bing Crosby.
"Going our way?" they asked, grinning.
"Obliviate," said Severus.
"Obliviate," repeated Charity, pointing her wand at the quartet.
As the four young men drove away, Charity turned to Severus, who was staring in bemusement at the wand he had just pulled away from his temple.
"We were on our way to see Lizard World," she said, guiding him back to their car.
