Notes: Sequel to The Naked Eye. Continuing the summer holiday begun in "High Flying Lover."
Severus awoke to sunlight in his face. Blinking, he lifted his head and had a moment of panic, until he remembered that Charity had cast a Disillusioning spell: None of the stragglers milling about the beach could see them lying naked in the sand.
Charity stirred.
"Good morning," murmured Severus. He kissed her.
"Mm." Charity smiled.
"I've been thinking--"
"Oh, no."
He scowled. The light in her eyes remained undimmed.
"What do you say we go to that planetarium you mentioned?"
Charity grinned. "I'd love it," she said. "It's in the city, though; we'll have to take the Saturn."
"Fine."

Severus extricated himself from Charity and stood. He grimaced as he brushed sand off himself. "Might as well have Transfigured the T-shirt. It's ruined, anyway."
Charity cast a cleansing charm on the shirt. "Good as new," she said, grinning. "Oh, wait--"
"You wait," snapped Severus. "Have a care where you point that wand."
"You don't trust me?"
He raised an eyebrow.
"I do have a vested interest, you know."
Severus snorted. "I was planning on showering before we go learn about Jupiter and Saturn--or don't you have a vested interest in showering with me?"
Charity set the wand aside.

"We should shower together more often."
"I should like that, if only they had showers at Hogwarts."
Charity watched Severus pull a T-shirt over his head and tuck it into his jeans. "An Elton John shirt for every occasion."
"I like to be prepared."
"Rocket Man. How apropos."
"I can sing it better than Shatner."
"My arse can sing it better than Shatner."
He snorted. "It's hard to be stoic around you."
"Good."
They stepped outside.
"Who's driving?"
Severus walked around to the driver's side of the Saturn.
Charity winked. "I'll give directions," she said, sliding into the passenger's seat.

"Astronomers believed that Saturn was the only planet which had rings, until March 1977, when scientists discovered rings around Uranus. The rings of Uranus were imaged for the first time in 1986, by the interstellar probe Voyager 2..."
"A probe to Uranus," murmured Severus in Charity's ear.
Charity elbowed him in the ribs.
Severus kept his gaze fixed on the lecturer. "Uranus is fascinating."
Charity struggled, in vain, to suppress a snicker.
Severus glanced at her, raising an eyebrow.
"Damn you and your superior Occlumency skills," she whispered.
Severus returned his attention to the front of the room and smirked.
